still hard at work on the stars for my dad’s quilt…
but I seem to like mixing projects, so I got going on my niece’s bowtie quilt, too.
which, I think, will end up being one of my all-time favorites. had all the fabric stacked up on the table and kept waffling on what design to use until I remembered this beautiful quilt by flossy bossy. I never realized how fab a bowtie quilt could be. It’s got an I Spy quality to it, and enough young fabrics that a 7 year old will like it, but (I hope) enough big girl fabrics that she can keep using it for a long time.
mermaids got put to the side, haven’t finished the bean’s One Direction pillows (or started her Union Jack quilt), still trying to make time to finish quilting my pickle dish…
linking up to freshly pieced’s WIP Wednesday :-)
