Finally finished my niece’s “indigo and violet” quilt, which was started in 2012. The quilting was inspired by Angela Walters “Free-Motion Quilting” book. It took forever but the texture is delicious. Of course, a quilt finish means there’s room for a new project. I think there’s a sew-along for this, but I have no idea how long it will take for me to finish, so I’m just going solo. Awesome Red Pepper Quilts tutorial here. 
and thanks as always to my shy quilt model. she’ll take 30,000 selfies in a day but won’t let her mother take any pictures of her beautiful face. :-)
Gorgeous quilt! The texture is delicious. I spy that beautiful smile that your playful model is trying to hide ... not working ... I see a beautiful, happy, and confident girl. Congrats on the finish. Your WIP is gorgeous, too. I love your joyous use of color ... :) Pat
